THE DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL HYPNOTHERAPY
Is this course for me?
This course is for anyone looking to expand their working practice with clients with long term health conditions, who are perhaps in chronic pain, or who have complex phobias or other concerns that are getting in the way of them living the best life for them. You do not need to be working in a hospital, this course is for everyone who wants to know how to work effectively with clients with complex needs.
The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to enable you to perfect your skills as clinical hypnotherapists with clients facing significant health challenges, for instance:
living with chronic, persistent pain
helping clients with chronic, incurable illness
specialist techniques for needle and other phobia
using hypnotherapy in challenging circumstances
supporting clients through their chemotherapy​ and other complex treatments

How is the diploma taught?
The diploma is taught via Zoom, an online provider similar to Skype, and is a mix of discussion sessions, taught modules and supervision coaching calls. You will be encouraged to 'buddy up' to complete practice elements and we have an experienced tutor available to support your learning in addition to the teaching team.

When does it begin and how much does it cost?
The next run of the diploma begins in April 2024 and will be delivered fully online. The details of attendance etc and the fees are available here.

What support do I get?
You will be supported throughout the diploma with full access to a closed Facebook discussion group, access to tutors and four topic-related Zoom supervision sessions. You will also have full access to a private DropBox folder with copies of all handouts, assessment details, timetables and so on.

Here is the draft timetable for the April 2024 course. Note, we will do our best to adhere to this timetable but sometimes events occur and we have to reschedule. You will be supported in attending any scheduled events and many of our modules are recorded allowing you to catch up should you be unable to attend.
