DOROTHEA READ

Supervisor and Senior Lecturer

Dorothea is a full-time Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Solution Focused Brief Therapist trained with the BRIEF International organisation.

Dorothea is vastly experienced in using clinical hypnotherapy and SFBT in clients with significant health challenges, both in hospital and the therapy room, having created and set up one of the first clinical hypnotherapy practices in an NHS hospital. Dorothea is a highly-qualified supervisor and an accredited supervisor in the Muss Rewind technique to help with phobia and PTSD. Her private practice is in Cyncoed, Cardiff and online. Registered with CNHC and NCH.

JO JONES

Director & Senior Lecturer

Jo is our director here at CMTS, and is an experienced clinical therapist, life and business coach and mindfulness teacher. With almost a decade of experience, Jo has trained with some of the world's leading names in hypnotherapy and mindfulness teaching, including, Paul McKenna, Rick Hanson, Kristin Neff, Mindfulness UK and the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) to deliver their 'Paws b' curriculum. With 25+ years experience of owning and running businesses, Jo then created the HushTherapy brand and developed TheraCoaching® now specialising in helping women in perimenopause struggling with a wide variety of symptoms.

Jo is registered with CNHC.

JANE CLARK

Senior Lecturer
DSFH, HPD, CHS DipMed, SRN, SCM

Jane is a full-time clinical hypnotherapist and has a private practice in High Wycombe. She also works in a local complementary health clinic, and does voluntary work in a local day hospice.

Jane’s background is in nursing and midwifery.

Jane is passionate about good education and is the founder of Hypnoquility providing excellence in effective clinical hypnotherapy.

At CMTS, Jane is our wonderful lead student support, offering her expertise at helping people get the best from their training experience with us.

DERMOT O'DONNELL

Senior Lecturer

Dermot O'Donnell joined as our Senior Lecturer. Based in N Ireland. Qualified in SF hypnotherapy with CPHT. Dermot has also attained Medial Hypnotherapy Diploma with CHS. He has also qualified as a Mediator and Elder Mediator with the Mediators Institute of Ireland. Dermot has completed NLP qualifications in NLP with Ichangeworks.
