Rachel is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in the application of psychology to your health and well-being, and registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. 

Rachel was a Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England with 20 years’ experience of training psychologists through Masters and Doctoral level qualifications. She holds the PostGraduate Certificate in Higher Education training and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Rachel was awarded her Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Southampton in 2003.


Registered with the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapists and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, she has experience of working with a wide range of anxiety-related conditions, low mood, phobias and eating behaviours.

Dorothea BA DHP HPD Hyp.Supervisor.


Registered with CNHC and NCH. Dorothea is a full time SF Hypnotherapist and also a Solution Focused Brief Therapist trained with the BRIEF organisation.


Dorothea is experienced in using solution focused hypnotherapy in clients with significant health challenges, both in hospital and the therapy room. She also has a private practice in Cyncoed, Cardiff. 


Dorothea founded the Hospital Hypnotherapy Service in The University Hospital of Wales (UHW) in Cardiff, and now leads a team of Clinical Hypnotherapists in UHW.

Caroline  is an NCH Accredited Supervisor

Caroline is a full time Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist running a busy private practice since 2008.  She is also an NCH Accredited Supervisor. 


Additionally, she is owner and Practice Manager of The Old Rectory Clinic, a multi-disciplinary complementary healthcare clinic in Gloucestershire.  


Caroline regularly runs CPD training courses and workshops for fellow professional practitioners.


Jade de Snyder 

BSc Psychology  MA DSFH HPD Hypnotherapy Supervisor. 

Registered Social worker


Jade studied Solution Focused Hypnotherapy at The Clifton Practice in Bristol, one of the most well-recognised and well-respected teaching practices in the UK. Jade is a qualified supervisor. Jade offers online CPDs covering ethics topics, contact us for details.

Noreen Lewis

Lead Nurse University Hospital Wales.


Noreen founded the Hospital Hypnotherapy Service with Dorothea; she is an expert in haematological cancers and in chemotherapy.

Noreen will be explaining how to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and hospital protocols such as data protection and hypnotherapy notes storage.

Tania Taylor

Solution Focused Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist


Tania qualified from university with a first class honours degree and went on to work for a national charity, managing health and social care services in West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. Tania has expert knowledge in dementia and currently offers online CPD’s on the General Data Protection Regulations. She also has a private practice in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.


Emma Edwards


Emma qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist at The Clifton Practice in 2011, after working for a decade in publishing, as a science journalist, and working with educational psychologists.


Since 2011 she has been working as a hypnotherapist and also working with Bristol Autism Support, supporting parents of children with autism through courses on wellbeing.


Emma is passionate about working within the LGBT community and has extensive experience of working with LGBT clients.


Jo Jones



Solution Focused Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist

Jo began her therapist journey as a Reiki master practitioner in 2009, before training as a meditation and mindfulness teacher in 2015. She trained with the British School of Yoga, the British Mindfulness Institute and the Mindfulness in Schools Project to deliver their 'Paws b' curriculum. Alongside her ‘other work’, in the world of business, she owns and runs her Hushtherapy practice, in north Bristol.


Jo focuses on ‘care of the therapist and offers CPDs on how we can use mindfulness-based techniques to equip us to cope with overwhelm, work with strong emotion and avoid burnout.
